As part of the exhibit curated by Lorelei Stewart, Precarity: Contingency in Artmaking and Academia, Artists Vanessa Viruet and Julia Arredondo of Vice Versa Press construct a storefront within the exhibition selling handmade goods, such as candles, self-printed books, and imitation lotto tickets. Centered around the idea of paying off their student loan debt through capitalistic creative approaches, the performance allows the artists to engage in conversations about the humorous ways people have struggled and survived living with student debt.

The pop-up shop with be open for business ONE DAY ONLY on July 14th from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
