Star Vessels zine is a visual survey that uses hand-drawn stars to map the vessel shapes of some of my favorite contemporary crafters. The Star Series of work began for me during the pandemic and has continued to be a meditative and meticulous exploration of shape-making. In stock, purchase here.
Zine details:
Star Vessels is an 18-page large-format zine with star drawings of other people’s vessel shapes, including work by Depy Zepo, Casa Verónica, Theaster Gates, Slow Editions and Pattern Play Glass. The zine measures 8.5” x 11” in size and is 18 pages in length.
The zine is photocopied in two color ways, black/white and blue and is saddle stitched on medium-weight, textured paper. Released 2022.
