No More Lazy Lover Altar zine
An intimate look into acts of private devotion, the No More Lazy Lover Altar: Excerpts From the Prayer Box zine is a collection of handwritten prayers and intentions that were dropped into a public prayer box as part of the No More Lazy Lover Altar art installation of early 2020. The public art installation provided participants with a video blessing against the woes of having a lazy lover alongside the public prayer box where individuals could petition the higher powers. Currently out of print.
Zine details:
The zine measures 5" x 7.25" and is saddle stitched. Limited to an edition of 100 copies, the original template for this zine, along with the prayers and intentions dedicated to the No More Lazy Lover Altar, have been burned. There will not be another printing. Excerpts From the Prayer Box zine is a mix of color photocopy and risograph printing. 16 pages in length, including covers. Each copy includes a commemorative postcard from the Altar exhibition.
Copies are available for borrowing around the USA. This zine is collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art Thomas J. Watson library.
