Baltimore Breakups: A Pop-Up Memoir is a five-page pop-up zine, reprinted and hand-assembled in Portland, Maine. Baltimore Breakups illustrates my most memorable romantic breakups while living in Baltimore during my undergraduate career at the Maryland Institute College of Art. This zine was produced as part of an Artist Residency at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts in Boca Raton, FL. The zine is saddle-stitched and was originally published through Vice Versa Press in 2014.
Baltimore Breakups was awarded the Baltimore Citypaper’s “Best Pop-Up Book” in 2015. Read the article HERE. My Summer 2026 intern from the Maine College of Art and Design, Elliot Noon, helped cut out all of the individual parts for the zine and this reprint would not have been possible without him!
