I am on a one-year lease at Pickwick Independent Press, paying $85 monthly for access to the community print shop. At Pickwick Independent Press, I use the risograph printing machine to reproduce older work while exploring new motifs and ideas through the screen printing method. Pickwick Press also has letterpress machines, hot foil stampers, and an offset press that I’m hoping to be trained on before the end of the year.
I am formally trained in printmaking, and have utilized these methods of reproduction and expression for over two decades now. Having access to printmaking tools greatly enhances my creative process as it’s the medium I feel most connected to.
